Maria Panina

Maria Panina worked in Vnesheconombank Group as the Principal Deputy Director of the PPP Development Center and Principal Deputy Director of Federal Center for Project Finance, OJSC for ten years.

While working at Vnesheconombank, Maria was directly involved in the preparation of government decisions on the implementation of major investment projects, in the corporate management of Vnesheconombank subsidiaries, and in-state expert councils and high-level groups on transport and tourism infrastructure, regional development, and special economic zones.

Maria Panina received a degree in Economics at the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Banking and Finance. She completed the PPP project development program at Partnerships UK and the Infrastructure in a Market Economy program at Harvard University’s J.F. Kennedy School of Government.

She is a member of the investment board at the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. She was a member of expert committees in ministries and agencies numerous times.
